A native of Brandon, Mississippi, Zachary received a degree in journalism from the University of Mississippi (a.k.a. Ole Miss) in May 2008 and immediately moved to New York City, where he lived in Manhattan’s East Harlem and wrote for magazines like Fast Company, New York, and Town & Country.
In August 2010 Zachary moved to New Orleans to reconnect with his Southern roots and pursue a career in one of America’s most interesting and inspiring cities.
In addition to journalism, Zachary’s interests lie in writing short fiction and occasional poetry, blogging, graphic design, and filmmaking.
